This is a traditional Mangalorean Fish Gravy that is made from coconut, dry red chillies, onions, and few ancient ingredients. The gravy is light to moderate spicy and is tangy orange in color. Almost all sea and river fishes are cooked in this gravy. Goan fish curries are a bit similar, but in Mangalore, they have their own spices and condiments which adds another level to the gravy.
